1. Account Deletion Methods

1.1 How do I delete my LibraryBook Student account?

You can request account deletion in two ways:

Send an email to: support@librarybook.com

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Include the following information:

• Your registered email address

• Your registered phone number

• Your full name (as registered in the app)

• Reason for account deletion (optional)
  
  

Note: Account deletion requires admin verification. We will process your request within 5–7 working days.

1.3 Via App

1. Open the LibraryBook Student app

2. Go to Settings (tap on your profile icon or menu)

3. Scroll to Others section

4. Tap on Delete Account

5. Read the warning message carefully

6. Confirm your decision

7. Wait for admin verification and processing
   
   

Note: Account deletion requires admin verification. The process may take 5–7 working days to complete.

2. What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently deleted:

• Profile Information: Your name, email, phone number, address, and profile photo

• Chat Messages: Your personal chat messages (group chat messages may remain visible to other participants, but your name will be anonymized)

• Media Files: All images, videos, audio, and documents you shared in chats

• Focus Sessions: Your focus timer history and study session data

• Achievements: Your achievement records, badges, and points

• Public Profile: Your data on public leaderboards and public profiles

• Friend Connections: Your friend list and connection data

• Groups: Your membership in study groups and communities

• Notifications: All your notification history
  
  

2.1 Data That May Be Retained

• Booking History: Booking records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes

• Transaction Records: Payment transaction records may be retained for financial and legal compliance

• Backup Data: Some data may remain in backups for up to 30 days before permanent deletion
  
  

3. Important Information

3.1 Before Deleting Your Account

3.3 After Account Deletion

• You will not be able to log in

• You will lose access to all your data

• Account and data cannot be recovered

4.2 Can I recover my account after deletion?

No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.

4.3 Will my booking history be deleted?

Booking records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes, but personal information will be anonymized.

4.4 What if I have pending refunds?

Ensure all refunds are completed before deletion. Contact support if required.

4.5 Can I delete my account if I have active bookings?

It is recommended to cancel active bookings first, but deletion requests can still be submitted.

4.6 Do I need to provide a reason for deletion?

No. Providing a reason is optional.

4.7 What if I change my mind after requesting deletion?

Contact support immediately. Cancellation may be possible if deletion is not processed yet.
